PENILE PROSTHESIS :
an internal device that is permanent and makes the penis hard enough for penetration. There are several types with different features. With the currently available state-of-the-art implants, a success rate of almost 95% may be expected.
SURGERY :
this requires the placement of two implants in the penis; one in the left erectile chamber and one in the right. The implants and the pump which fills the implants are totally concealed inside the body and give excellent cosmetic and functional results in most patients.
The success rate is over 98% in terms of patient and partner acceptance, and almost 95% in terms of patient satisfaction. The prosthesis are FDA approved.

There are two categories of prosthesis :
non-inflatable prosthesis :
It is bendable and can be controlled to give erection. There is no problem in achieving sexual excitement along with ejaculation and it gives high satisfaction to both patient and patient’s partner.
This is one of comparatively lower price prosthesis among surgical treatment methods for impotence.
inflatable prosthesis :
This contain fluid to give a more natural erection. This fluid is transferred within or to cylinders in the penis to give hardness.
There is a control valve attached to the device, so that it enables patient not only to manipulate it to give erection when he would like, but also to accomplish sexual excitement along with ejaculation.

Patient may choose it depending on the size of genitalia and the state of structure of surrounding pelvic area
